Warranty Policy

Effective Date: August 2026 Last Updated: August 25, 2026

1. Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

Products sold by Crestline Equipment are covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer, not by Crestline Equipment, and vary by brand, product line, model, and component. Coverage periods, duty classifications, and claim procedures differ from one manufacturer to another. Where warranty terms are available for a specific product, they are stated on that product's page or included in the documentation supplied with the equipment.

For the warranty terms applicable to a specific model, contact us at support@crestlineequipment.com or 888-281-4748 before or after purchase and we will provide the manufacturer's current published terms.

2. How Warranty Relates to Returns

Situation What applies Where to look
Package arrives damaged Report within 7 days of delivery Return and Refund Policy
Defect found within 30 days of delivery Crestline Equipment replacement or full refund, return shipping covered by us, no restocking fee Return and Refund Policy
Defect found after 30 days Manufacturer warranty, coordinated by us This page

Within the 30 day return window you do not need to file a warranty claim. Contact us and we will handle it as a defective return under our Return and Refund Policy.

3. What Is Generally Covered

Subject to the manufacturer's specific terms:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faulty components
  • Mechanical failures occurring under normal operating conditions

4. What Is Generally Not Covered

Subject to the manufacturer's specific terms, warranties do not cover:

Wear Items and Consumables: Brushes, pads, pad drivers, squeegee blades, skirts, hoses, filters, belts, gaskets, seals, and similar parts consumed through normal operation.

Maintenance: Routine servicing, adjustment, cleaning, and replacement of wear items are the owner's responsibility. Failure to perform the maintenance specified in the operator's manual may void coverage.

Improper Use: Operation outside the manufacturer's stated specifications, use of incorrect chemicals or detergents, use on unsuitable surfaces, operation by untrained personnel, or failure to follow safety instructions.

Modifications and Non-Approved Parts: Repairs performed by unauthorized parties, and the use of replacement parts or accessories not approved by the manufacturer.

Batteries: Where equipment is supplied with batteries, battery coverage is frequently shorter than the machine warranty and is often pro-rated. Battery terms are set by the battery manufacturer.

Damage in Transit: Handled under our Shipping Policy rather than under warranty. Report within the timeframes stated there.

Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, and finish wear that do not affect function.

Normal Wear and Tear.

5. Conditions of Coverage

Proof of Purchase: Your order number or receipt is required for all warranty claims.

Original Purchaser: Manufacturer warranties generally extend to the original purchaser only and are not transferable unless the manufacturer's terms state otherwise.

Product Registration: Some manufacturers require product registration within a set period after purchase for coverage to take effect. Where registration is required, instructions are included with your documentation. Registration is the purchaser's responsibility.

Commercial and Rental Use: Some manufacturers apply different warranty periods to equipment used in commercial, industrial, or rental applications. Confirm the applicable duty class with us if your intended use may affect coverage.

6. How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Email support@crestlineequipment.com with your order number, product model and serial number, and a description of the issue.
  2. Provide photos or video of the defect if requested.
  3. We open the claim with the manufacturer and provide proof of purchase on your behalf.
  4. Resolution takes the form of replacement parts, product replacement, or manufacturer service, as determined by the manufacturer's terms.

We acknowledge claims within 1 business day and respond substantively within 24 to 48 hours.

Service and Repair: Crestline Equipment is an online retailer and does not perform installation, servicing, or repair. Where a claim requires physical service, the work is performed by the manufacturer or its authorized service network. Our role is to open the claim, supply proof of purchase, and follow it through to resolution with you.

Shipping and Service Costs: For defects reported within 30 days of delivery, we cover return shipping under our Return and Refund Policy. After 30 days, shipping, parts, and service costs are governed by the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Resolution Timelines: Warranty determinations and timelines are set by the manufacturer and are outside our control. We will keep you updated on the status of your claim.

7. Your Statutory Rights

This Warranty Policy describes manufacturer warranties and does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable law, including any implied warranties that cannot be excluded or limited.
